Oklahoma City is the largest city in the "Sooner" state of Oklahoma and is its capital too. With a population of over five hundred thousand people, Oklahoma City is packed full of entertainment for when the sun is up and for when it goes down, too.
The Bricktown Brewery Restaurant and Pub is an active place that has been entertaining its customers since 1992. It was the first "brewpub" in the state of Oklahoma.
The restaurant serves some delicious food for you and your family to enjoy. And if you want to wet your whistle with a fine beer, the Bricktown Brewery Restaurant brews its own Copperhead Amber Ale. It also offers up Bison American Wheat, Red Brick Ale, and Rock Island Rail Ale. To quench the biggest of thirsts, you can order a "Growler." A Growler is a full half-gallon glass jug.
This restaurant and pub also has billiard tables, shuffleboard, video games, and dartboards to entertain you. Live entertainment takes the stage on Friday and Saturday nights for your listening pleasure.
The Citywalk is another place to go in the nighttime in Oklahoma City. With a capacity of two thousand people and a thirty thousand square foot building, the Citywalk is like taking a virtual walk around the city! There are seven dance clubs in this building. No matter what your taste in music might be, you're sure to find a dance club that will fit your liking!
First, there's the Dueling Piano Bar; second, there's the Small Tequila Bar; third, there's the DiscoTech; fourth, is the Country Dance Club; fifth, is the Techno Dance Club; sixth, is the Cigar Bar; and last, but certainly not least, is the Safari Lounge.
Slick Willy's is a pool hall that welcomes you, your spouse, and the entire family! At Slick Willy's, you'll find pool tables, dart boards, video games, foosball, and more to do! There's also a bar that serves alcoholic beverages as well as soda pop, juices, and water.
If you're looking for dinner and a little excitement, you can visit the Dinner and Murder Mystery Theater in this city. You and your spouse will need to dress semi-formally for this live dinner theater. You'll also need to arrive at least thirty minutes in advance so you can get your script and find out who your characters are.
Are you confused by what a dinner and murder mystery theater are? Once there, you'll not only enjoy a delicious five course meal, but you'll also take part in a mystery play where you'll have a chance to figure out "who dunnit?"
While you're in Oklahoma City, the Civic Center Music Hall offers you and your family culture in the form of music, theater, ballet, pop concerts, and touring Broadway shows. The Music Hall houses the Oklahoma City Philharmonic, Lyric Theatre and Ballet Oklahoma.
Finally, to cap off an evening of fun and entertainment, Chisolm's Club is just the place. It's nestled in the Biltmore Hotel, and it resembles an old-fashioned Oklahoma Saloon. You can find your favorite drink, take the dance floor for some Country/Western dancing, and try your luck at Blackjack and Roulette, just for the fun of it!
You can check the Internet for websites to these fine places to visit. If they don't have a website, you can still find information on how to buy tickets, what their schedules are, menus, and anything else you need to know in order to plan your fun-filled evening.
