If you think that you have had some fun in New York and Las Vegas then you probably haven't been to St. Thomas. It's not just the weather that is

turning up the temperatures on this island, but the nightlife that St. Thomas offers is endless. In Charlotte Amalie, along the waterfront area you

will find a great assortment of restaurants and bars. Right outside of Charlotte Amalie is Frenchtown. Frenchtown is another great place to go out at night with many restaurants and pubs, all which are closely within walking distance from each other. If you are looking for some live music, to watch sports, play pool, or just listen to some rock and roll then the Havensight area is probably the place for you.

Paradise Point, voted the number 1 bar with live entertainment on St. Thomas, offers live music on Monday and Tuesday nights from 5-7pm for Happy

Hour. On Wednesday nights you don't want to miss the popular sunset party with live music from 6-10pm. Paradise Point is always offering a wide

variety of bands that change weekly. This is the hot place to be when the sun goes down.

If you're looking for a non-stop Caribbean party then Duffy's Love Shack is the place for you. This crazy place has been named the ultimate tropical drink shack and the menu will not disappoint you in the least either. The

party atmosphere is definitely Caribbean with a thatch roof bar and leopard prints on the seats. Duffy's is known for its infamous and bizarre drinks, such as the 50-ounce flaming Volcano and also the Revenge of Godzilla, served in a big, green take-home cup. Drinks are not the only mouth-watering items you can indulge in. You can cook your own meat with the flaming pupu

platter, or eat already-prepared jerk chicken, grilled mahi-mahi or gourmet burgers. Another great feature this establishment offers is that there is a different theme every night. The average cost is about $18 and reservations

are advisable.

The Green House is another fun filled spot and always happening, especially when the U.S. Navy pulls into port. This restaurant is located across the busy main road from the waterfront, and sits in the heart of the Charlotte

Amalie shopping district. The tables at the front offer harbor views and are open to the fresh sea breezes. The Green House offers a full menu featuring Caribbean and American cuisines. Some of the items offered are seafood, steak, salads, pasta, plus local choices like mango-banana chicken, conch fritters, and Jamaican jerk ribs. Happy Hour is a great time to meet new

people as this establishment tends to attract large crowds during this time. The average cost is about $25 US dollars and booking is not required but is advisable.

More upscale nightlife is available at resorts; piano bars, poolside dining and beachfront bars are available. Some offer casual night entertainment such as Caribbean shows complete with calypso singers, steel drum player,

perhaps a mocko jumbie dancer often all under the stars. Most resorts and hotels offer some type of nightlife; including bars, billiard tables,

restaurants, karaoke, beach volleyball and more. A great place to visit is Red Hook.

Ok so going out drinking is not your thing, or a little to wild for you well then there are plays, music concerts, poetry recitals and dance showcases. Special events take place during holidays and local festivals like Carnival,

French Heritage Week and Christmas Season; they often include concerts, shows, choir recitals, dances and performances by local bands. So whatever entertainment you are looking for you will be sure to find it in St. Thomas.
