The stress and rush of modern daily life can lead to a disorder known as chronic fatigue. Acupuncture and chronic fatigue are a good match because acupuncture is excellent for resolving the causes.

Acupuncture and Chronic Fatigue

There are many things that can impact the health and well being of a human being. Many of these conditions can be easily called diseases or medical conditions. Some of them are on a more the border between what Western Practitioners of Medicine would call disease and psychological disorders. There are other conditions that are not always recognized as being either. They are seen as lifestyle choices such as drug addiction.

Traditional Chinese Medicine views the whole situation from a totally different perspective. It is not so quick to dismiss a condition as not being medical and looks at anything that impacts the quality of human life as being part of the same general problem. That problem can be defined best as disharmony. It is assumed that the human being has been designed, like the Universe he inhabits, with a certain amount of perfection. In other words, he is designed to experience health and prosperity and joy. When he is not enjoying these things, something is wrong. This wrong can be discovered and corrected.

It does not require a long Latin medical name to be considered a treatable condition. Chronic fatigue is one of these types of ailments. Chronic fatigue is a way of saying that a person always feels tired and lacks energy. It can be related to insomnia and most often this is a major cause. When a person does not sleep well at night, he will be fatigued during the day. Fatigue during the day leads to stress and anxiety that prevents sleep at night. A vicious chain reaction is taking place.

Acupuncture is a viable treatment for chronic fatigue. The diagnosis process of Traditional Chinese Medicine will look way past the superficial factors and delve into the underlying disharmony that is causing them. It will then center its treatment and restoring balance and harmony. Since much of acupuncture theory revolves around the movement of qi, or vital energy through the Meridians of the body, fatigue almost seems to be exactly the kind of condition that it would be most useful in treating.

As with most acupuncture treatment plans, it is likely that a supplemental program involving certain herbs and lifestyle changes will be suggested. Many people who receive acupuncture treatments report a feeling of increased energy almost from the moment the inserted needles contact the qi points. This feeling of revitalization lasts for quite some time following the treatment session. This is what is what is reported in an acupuncture treatment designed for just about any condition. With this in mind, you should be able to easily imagine what will happen when the acupuncture is for chronic fatigue.
