If you are visiting Anchorage Alaska on business or for a vacation, you may be wondering where you should eat. The decision on where to eat can be a tricky one, as there are so many different kinds of wonderful eateries in this city. Great place for anniversary, proposal, or special romantic evening as the atmosphere drips with candlelight and breath-taking views of the Cook Inlet.
#4: Sullivans Steakhouse C If you have a taste for more turf than surf than Sullivans Steakhouse is the place for you. Charming 1930s Speakeasy atmosphere mingles with the costumed wait staff, and 1930s dcor. House Cabernets and Merlots compliment the robust tastes of the prime grade-A steaks that are served to order. There are no vegetarian entrees available, but Alaskan seafood is featured.
#5: Thai Kitchen C If you are on a tighter budget, or want some good Thai food then visit the Thai Kitchen. Established in 1987 this restaurant has been serving up home-style Thai food to Anchorage residents and visitors for nearly 20 years. If you dont all ready have a favorite I suggest the traditional rice noodles with peanuts, or the tom yum kai for a tasty lunch.

For a healthy light bite, visit the Middle Way Caf and Coffeehouse. This caf specializes in organic cuisine and offers both vegetarian and meat options.
