Ads for diet patches are everywhere emails, online commercials, and pop-ups in websites you are browsing, magazines and infomercials. Each promotional clip is different, but there is only one idea behind them -- instant weight loss. You simply place diet patches on certain parts of the body, and you lose weight in one week. Some ads even say that results could manifest in as little as three days! Manufacturers claim that your skin absorbs the slimming ingredients of diet patches, helping suppress your appetite and slimming you down. This seems like a farfetched idea, but surprisingly, many people still get hooked. But is the theory true?

There is no scientific evidence to prove the effectiveness of diet patches. Clinical studies have shown that some of the ingredients in some types of diet patches can aid in fat reduction, but it doesnt show that putting them on a patch and letting your skin absorb them is effective. You should avoid fat products like diet patches, at all costs. There is no practical use for diet patches, so save your money and your health.

No one loses much weight is just three days. Manufacturers of weight loss patches claim that people who use it notice big differences in their weights in as little as 3 days. This is scientifically impossible. Even the strongest illegitimate fat burning drugs (such as winstrol and clenbuterol) take at least 2 weeks to work.

Diet patches do not control your thyroids. Dont believe manufacturers when they say that diet patches stimulate your thyroid gland to increase your metabolism. This is simply impossible, because only transdermal patches do this. Regular diet patches do not contain the medication found in transdermal patches. It takes a lot of hard work to reach your ideal weight. Do not rely on instant weight loss products such as diet patches. You should instead exercise, lessen your calorie intake and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
