With an average temperature of 83 degrees and 3000 hours of sunshine per year, Fort Lauderdale is the ideal destination for year round family fun. Almost six and a half million visitors traveled to the Fort Lauderdale area throughout the year.
Hollywood-Fort Lauderdale International Airport is located in the center of Fort Lauderdale and, with its easy to navigate layout, is extremely traveler friendly. Hotels and motels from the most luxurious to the most cost efficient are within a few minutes drive of the airport.
Known as the Venice of America, Fort Lauderdale is known for its waterways lined with restaurants and hotels. Locals and visitors often travel via water taxi along the beautiful waterways.
