Fun things to do in cleveland at night

Looking for something fun to do in Cleveland? Here are a few ideas that are sure to bring you a memorable night out on the town. There are a number of restaurants to choose from in the downtown area so planning a night out can be a little difficult if you have never been there. Who wants to be running from one end of the town to the other all night? To make things easier for you, here are a few restaurant/club combinations that will maximize your time management and keep you right in the heart of the party.

Fun Night #1: For a nice dining experience that leads to numerous other possibilities try booking a night at Pickwick & Frolic Restaurant and Club. Buy a complete package and you will start off with a wonderful all you can eat buffet. After dinner you will enjoy a comedy show at the historic 4th Street Theatre that is home to Hilarities Comedy Club. They feature many national acts and the opening acts will have you wiping away tears of joy until the show is over. After that you can enjoy two shows in the martini bar downstairs, which will require no additional cover charges to see. The Cabaret Divas go on at 10:30 pm and following them will be The Midnight Martini show, featuring a tribute to Old Las Vegas and a Rat pack duo of Sinatra impersonators. Its a great show and a wonderful ending to your night out.

Fun Night #2: Dinner at Sushi Rock followed by dancing at the Velvet Dog right next door. Sushi Rock features Japanese Seafood along with a full service Sushi Bar. After trying many of the sushi bars around town, I can say that it is the best you will find in both eating enjoyment and atmosphere in Cleveland. When youre finished there, walk one door down to the Velvet Dog and dance to a lively remix of retro dance songs that everyone is sure to enjoy. The upscale first floor is where youll find the crowd on the dance floor, while upstairs youll find the Third-Level Lounge a nice quiet get away where you can share a martini or two with your friends. If the weather is nice, take a walk out onto the outdoor patio and be blown away by the incredible view of downtown Cleveland. It would be a great place to ask that special someone that special question.

Fun Night #3: A trip to the West Bank of the flats. Start your night off with dinner at The Rock Bottom Brew House where you can enjoy a host of Clevelands own fresh brewed beers. You wont see a wider selection of quality home brews anywhere and you will find the brew master to be quite a big help in picking a beer you will enjoy. Dinner is also sure to be a hit here and I highly recommend the garlic stuffed filet!

When youre done there, the Brew House is also home to a number of other possibilities for after dinner entertainment right under the same roof. Simply walk downstairs and find two comedy clubs to choose from. Howl at the Moon is where you will find a pair dueling pianos and the men behind them will sing and make fun of just about anything or anyone they can. Its a great no-harm-intended experience if you have never been to one before. Or, if you prefer a more contemporary type of comedy, walk a little further down the hall to The Improv. Youll find great national acts here as well and your night will be filled with laughter for sure. After the show you can head down the street a short trip to Shooters and enjoy dancing and drinks right on the water and watch as the enormous sport and luxury boats come in off the lake and dock right next to the bar.
