Looking out over the landscape of Brasilia it is difficult to believe that it is such a young city. In truth, the entire city was constructed in a matter of four years in the 1950s. 10. Pay homage to the man whose unique vision is responsible for Brasilia at the Juscelino Kubitschek monument. Commonly regarded as the founder of Brasilia, Kubitschek was president from 1956-1961. At this monument you can learn more about this man and his vision, as well an exhibit about the history of the city and documentation of its unique development.

9. Heal yourself in the mineral springs located at the Parque Nacional de Brasilia. This national park contains two natural mineral springs that have supposed healing properties. Also at the park are walking trails allowing you to appreciate the natural wonders of Brazil.
